Our Services
Comprehensive gutter, heat cable, and snow retention solutions designed specifically for mountain properties. Every project is custom-engineered for your elevation, snowfall, and roof type.
Seamless Gutter Installation
Premium copper, steel, and aluminum gutter systems custom-fabricated on-site for exact rooflines. We don't install standard gutters — we engineer water management systems built for mountain elevation, heavy snow loads, and decades of performance.
What's Included
- Free on-site property assessment and measurement
- Custom fabrication of seamless gutters in copper, steel, or aluminum
- Professional installation with proper slope and drainage engineering
- Box-style and K-style profile options
- Downspout placement optimized for your property
- Integration with heat cable and snow retention systems
- Complete cleanup and warranty support
Why Mountain Gutters Matter
Standard gutters can't handle the snowfall and freeze-thaw cycles of the Wasatch Back. Improper slope, undersized gutters, and poor drainage lead to ice dams, water infiltration, and thousands in damage. We engineer every gutter system for mountain conditions — correct slope, proper downspout placement, and integration with heat cable for year-round protection.
Heat Cable Installation
Self-regulating heat cable by Raychem and commercial-grade Valin Corporation cable, installed on roof edges, gutters, and downspouts. The most effective technology for preventing ice dams and protecting your home from water damage caused by freeze-thaw cycles.
What's Included
- Heat cable in 120V or 240V configurations
- Professional installation on roof edges, gutters, and downspouts
- Proper mounting and secure attachment
- Thermostat controls and safety disconnect switches
- Integration with existing gutters and drainage
- Complete testing and operation training
- Factory warranty and ongoing support
120V vs. 240V Systems
120V: Typical for single-family homes with moderate gutter runs and standard roof sizes. Easier retrofit installation.
240V: Recommended for large homes, complex roof designs, long downspouts, and commercial properties. Greater heating capacity and efficiency.
How It Works
Heat cable is self-regulating — it automatically adjusts heat output based on temperature. When it's cold enough for ice to form, the cable generates heat to prevent ice buildup. When temperatures rise, heat output reduces. This makes it more efficient, safer, and longer-lasting than constant-wattage alternatives.
Snow Retention Systems
Engineered snow retention preventing dangerous roof snow slides. At 7,000+ feet elevation in Park City, Summit County, and Wasatch County, accumulated roofpack can release in avalanche-like sheets, damaging property and endangering lives. Snow retention systems hold snow safely on the roof, allowing gradual melt instead.
System Types
Pad-Style: Rubber pads mounted to roof surface, ideal for metal roofs and standing-seam systems. Low-profile, durable, and effective.
Pipe-Style: Horizontal metal pipe bars mounted above gutters. Traditional approach, very durable, excellent for steep roofs.
Fence-Style: Metal framework mounted to roof. Heavy-duty option for maximum snow retention.
Why It Matters
- Prevents dangerous snow slides that damage property
- Protects walkways, patios, vehicles from falling snow
- Prevents damage to lower roofs and structures
- Protects landscaping and outdoor features
- Improves safety for residents and visitors
- Reduces liability exposure for property owners and HOAs
Every system is engineered based on your roof type, pitch, elevation, and calculated snow load. We don't recommend a one-size-fits-all approach — your snow retention is custom-designed for your property.
Gutter Guards
Mesh gutter guards that keep leaves, pine needles, and debris out of your gutters while allowing water to flow through freely. A smart investment that eliminates the expense and hassle of routine gutter cleaning — especially important for mountain properties surrounded by trees.
Benefits
- Keeps leaves, pine needles, and debris out of gutters
- Allows water to flow through freely
- Eliminates the need for routine gutter cleaning
- Extends the life of your gutter system
- Prevents clogs that lead to ice dams and water damage
- Professional installation on new or existing gutters
How They Work
Our mesh gutter guards feature a fine mesh screen that sits over the top of your gutters. Water passes through the mesh while leaves and debris slide off. They're designed for the heavy debris load of mountain properties with plenty of pine trees, aspens, and seasonal leaf fall.
